LoDiCs are more or less fixed methodological structures or strategies
teachers use to set up students' work. In their structure they
are similar to the ideas of WebQuests (s. Dodge, B. or March.
T.), which help students to learn using information based in
the WWW. LoDiCs in a mathematics educational context might be
using software like Spreadsheets, Computer Algebra Systems, Dynamic
Geometry Software, Logo, as well as presentation or graphical
software. They can easily be adopted covering contents of all
school subjects and all grades. Especially if teaching ICT is
integrated in Mathematics, Languages, Social Sciences, and other
subjects well established methodological structures are indispensable.
